Practice Fees and cancellation policy!
This is to inform our patients that as of 01/01/2023 Shell Cove Dental will become a mixed billed practice.
There will be a GAP FEE (Out of pocket cost) for all patients whose private health fund doesn’t cover the cost of their 6 monthly exam and clean appointment CAPPED at $170, so where your health fund pays i.e., $80 dollars you will pay the difference of $90.
We ask that all accounts be paid at the time of service and accept Debit, Credit Card and Amex along with Openpay, Zippay and Afterpay.
Please note that all dental appointments 50minutes or over will require a non refundable deposit to secure this appointment time, this then will be deducted from your treatment on the day of service.
Management requests as a courtesy to both your Dentist and patients that you provide 24hours’ notice in the event you are unable to attend your appointment. Our practice has a cancellation list to allow patients in need to be allocated an appointment if one becomes available. Failure to provide 24 hours’ notice could result in cancellation fees or a non-refundable deposit required to book any further appointments.

Finally, giving consent for treatment will be considered as acceptance of all our policies.
